Sci-fi alien abduction book
Rob Emery breaks new ground with his new science fiction novel - The Gatherer. This sci-fi thriller will keep you turning the pages as you experience multiple alien abductions!

The Gatherer

An alien probe abducts nine terrified earthlings for a horrific ride across interstellar space. One minute they are living their mundane every day lives; when, suddenly one by one, they find their entire body has been dissolved leaving their immortal Soul floating in disembodied form.

Worse, they are all about to be injected into the blood stream of a giant humanoid like a dose of drugs. Is this Hell? The psychotic killer in vial three thinks so. Is it heaven? The Japanese tuna boat Captain, in vial seven, thinks the giant alien outside his vial might be the great Buddha. The Captain’s daughter, a young deck hand, two young lovers from Georgia, a pretty blond teen from St. Louis, and two Green Beret Soldiers from Nevada are thrown together in the most terrifying experience imaginable as the alien begins randomly injecting each specimen into its veins one by one to vicariously relive their personal life experiences, like a vampire might live off the life force of others. This creature has absorbed life from across the universe, yet never has it tasted the mind rending flavor of a SOUL creature. It is ADDICTIVE!

About the Author

Rob Emery has been an avid science fiction reader since the age of thirteen. After over fifty years of reading the stuff he is not tired of it yet. He has written several nonfiction articles for publications ranging from recreational vehicle hitching and towing to theological interpretation on specific doctrine. He discovered he had a proclivity for writing fiction while a high school student in Southern Missouri. When he showed his short stories to class mates they more often than not took them home but did not return them. He took this as a sign that there may be a latent talent within. He was born in San Diego, California during the last years of World War II and presently lives and works with his family in the piney woods of east Texas.
